It is represented in the readiness project by two research groups from the department of maritime and transport technology (M&TT): Ship Design Production and Operation (SDPO) and Transport Engineering and Logistics (TEL). The department aims to address global challenges by expanding the frontiers of the maritime and transport engineering sciences.

Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI) is the national research institute for mathematics and computer science in the Netherlands. The VU Amsterdam is a large publicly funded research university with the mission: imbueing students and professionals with knowledge and a broader mind. It is represented in the readiness project by the Mathematics department of the science faculty. The department combines fundemantal mathematics with application to find sustainable solutions to the complex social issues of this day and age.

Defensie Materieel Organisatie (DMO)
DMO is a branche of the Netherlands defence force, responsible for development, buying, selling and maintenance of military equipment. This includes research and development of vessels for the Royal Netherlands Navy.

Managed out of the Delfzijl (NL) headquarters, Wagenborg has built a global commercial network. With about 3,000 employees Wagenborg serves clients predominantly in the Baltic, northwest Europe, the Mediterranean, the Americas and the Far East.
Conoship International is an ambitious and innovative ship design and engineering office. Founded in 1952 as the central design office for a group of Northern Dutch shipyards, Conoship International developed a strikingly wide range of ships, from general cargo vessels, tankers, dredgers, to ferries and offshore vessels. Over 2,000 ships were built based on their designs, operating all around the world. The office's passionate ship designers support clients in realising their vision during all phases of the shipbuilding process.
TNO, the Netherlands Organisation for applied scientific research, was founded by law in 1932 to enable business and government to apply knowledge. It is a major player a growing international network comprised of leading scientific institutes, companies with ambitious development profiles, universities and other partners in knowledge.
